‘Blueprint’ Adopted Unanimously: Congratulations to all

On Monday, October 5, the Las Cruces City Council voted 7-0 to approve a resolution adopting the redevelopment “Blueprint” for the Amador Avenue area west of the railroad tracks, between Compress and Valley Drive.

The unanimous Council endorsement is a tribute to the collaborative efforts of elected officials, City staff and community members. Everyone deserves to take a bow.

The final draft of the “Blueprint” is in the form of a downloadable PDF file. And each step in the process is chronicled in the posts preceding this one and in the Timeline on our homepage.

If you’re new to the project, you can review its goals here and read Frequently Asked Questions here.

Thanks to all for a successful, thoughtful process to set a course for revitalization for a deserving neighborhood.
